Bringing good fortune!! Ehomaki at Aquariums
Ehomaki is said to bring good luck if eaten silently while facing the direction of the year's lucky direction on Setsubun. Conger eel is known as one of the most popular fillings of ehomaki.
At Sea Paradise we will be exhibiting an "Eel Ehomaki Aquarium," a type of ehomaki that can only be found at Aquariums.
Conger eels prefer dark, narrow places and have a habit of hiding in holes, so this exhibit makes use of this characteristic.

Part of the tube is transparent, so you can see the conger eels crammed inside!
Also note that the aquarium is set up facing the lucky direction for 2025, which is southwest!
